Milton barbershop

A established Milton barbershop that wanted paid search to bring in bookings, with tracking good enough to tell which clicks actually became appointments.

Client name withheld until they approve being featured.

What we built

  • Google Ads account build
  • Conversion tracking & GTM
  • Google Business Profile
  • Local SEO

In Milton, whoever shows up in the map pack gets the walk-in. Everyone else waits. Paid search was the fastest route to visibility, but without conversion tracking there was no way to tell spend from waste.

Where we started

An established shop with a strong local reputation and almost no paid visibility. The brief was to reach people searching for a barber in Milton right now, and to build the measurement first so budget decisions could be made on evidence rather than impressions.

What we built

A Google Ads account structured around local intent, with tight ad groups and negative keywords to keep spend on searches that can actually convert. Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking went in before launch, so booking actions are attributed rather than guessed at. The Google Business Profile was tightened alongside it, since paid and map-pack visibility reinforce each other in a market this dense.

How it runs

Campaigns are reviewed against booked appointments, not clicks. Search terms are pruned on a regular cadence, and the account structure leaves room to add locations without rebuilding it.
